Privacy policy
How LBauto24 collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with the Law on Personal Data Protection of North Macedonia and the GDPR.
Who is responsible
The company named on the Contact page is responsible for your data. You can reach us at the email shown there.
What we collect
Account data: name, email, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash that can't be read). If you log in with Google: your name and email from Google.
Ad data: vehicle details, photos, price, city.
Technical data: your IP address and browser, in the server's logs, kept for security and to stop abuse. To count each visitor only once per ad per day, we keep a scrambled code made from them (it can't be turned back into your IP) for 2 days.
Saved cars and saved searches: in your browser, and in your account when you are logged in.
Why we use it
To show your ads and let buyers contact you; to run your account; to send the emails that come with it: confirming your email address and, if you leave them on, alerts for your saved searches (every alert email has a link to stop them); to answer your messages; to prevent fraud and abuse.
Who sees it
Your phone number is shown on your ads only when a buyer clicks to see it. We use these service providers, who process data only on our behalf: our server and database host, Backblaze (photo storage), an email service (to send emails), our visitor statistics (Umami, on our own server, without cookies), Cloudflare (the "I'm human" check on sign-up and login, when it is switched on) and Google (only if you log in with Google, or open the map on an ad). We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is active. When you delete an ad, it is deleted right away together with its photos. To delete your account, write to us using the Contact page. Accounts whose email address was never confirmed are deleted after 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, and you can object to processing. Write to us using the Contact page. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the site to work: your language and your login. Our visitor statistics (Umami) use no cookies and don't identify you: they count page visits, the country, the type of device and browser, and the site you came from. If we ever add analytics cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
